Privacy Policy
NCF's policy is to maintain in confidence all non-public personal
information of its donors received in connection with their contributions to NCF,
and to use such information solely to perform its charitable functions, subject
to the following. NCF will employ reasonable procedures to prevent the
disclosure of such information to third parties other than (i) with the donor's
consent, (ii) as required by law, or (iii) to persons providing service to NCF
(including affiliated local-Christian-foundation personnel) only to facilitate
their service and only after they have undertaken the same obligation of
confidentiality. Notwithstanding, an Advisor to a Giving Fund (normally the
initial donor) and any person to whom he grants Fund viewing privileges will be
able to view and obtain from NCF all information and documentation related to
any contribution to that Fund, including donor information and donor receipts.
In exchange for advisory or viewing privileges, and as a condition of exercising
such privileges, each Advisor or viewer must maintain in confidence all
non-public personal information of any donor to the Fund that the Advisor or
viewer receives in such capacity, and must use such information only for
purposes of acknowledging the donor's contributions, reporting the activity of
the Fund, or requesting from the donor additional contributions to that Fund
only.
